CHAGA BERRY BURST ICE TEA

Updated: Jul 18, 2019

Mildly Sweet and Fruity. So Refreshing

My sister-in-law gave me this idea and I just love it. She used Adagio Naturals Chaga Berry Burst Tea Bags to make this iced tea, but you could use your tea of choice. The Chaga/Berry Burst Tea is low in calories so is great after a workout or even during a your daily workout to keep you hydrated, or on a hot summers day. But you don't need a special reason to drink it, it just tastes great on its own.

INGREDIENTS:

6 cups of cold water

4 Chaga/Berry Burst Tea bags

1 or 2 teaspoon of sweetener of choice (Stevia, Honey, Agave, Brown Sugar) - Optional

Chaga Berry Burst Ice Cubes - Optional

Fill an ice cube tray with the cooled Chaga/Berry Burst Tea. Add a blueberry (or any fruit you like - raspberry, pieces of strawberry, orange or lemon pieces) to each compartment. Transfer to the freezer for 4 to 6 hours (depending upon your freezer) until they freeze hard.

Garnish - Optional: A handful of fresh or frozen raspberries, blueberries or blackberries or thin slices of oranges or lemons and a sprig of mint.

DIRECTIONS:

In a small pot bring 6 cups of water to a boil, then turn off the heat.

Add 4 Chaga/Berry Burst Tea Bags and let seep for 10 to 15 minutes, or longer if you like stronger tea.

Remove the tea bag(s) and let cool. (See tip below)

Add your sweetener of choice and stir until dissolved.

Add Chaga Tea Ice cubes to a tall glass. Add your garnish of choice and pour the cooled Chaga/Berry Burst Iced Tea over the ice cubes.

Enjoy

Tip: Take the used tea bags and pop them in a baggy and put them in the freezer. These can be used at least another 2 times before they loose their flavor.

We're excited to share many more Chaga mushroom recipes and to let people know about the many benefits of drinking Chaga mushroom tea!
